Sandra Carr is a mum, teacher and passionate advocate for regional communities.
She has spent most of her life in regional communities and knows how important regional WA is to the success, identity and financial security of our State.
Kalgoorlie-born and Geraldton-raised, Sandra has lived and worked in regional communities both in Western Australia and Victoria, so she has a comprehensive understanding of the unique needs and challenges they face.
Sandra raised her two children in Geraldton, and prior to entering parliament was a much-respected English teacher. She has worked in a range of school leadership roles, research roles, project management, and also worked throughout the Midwest-Gascoyne-Wheatbelt areas delivering drug and health education for regional students.
Sandra also serves on the board of Desert Blue Connect, a not-for-profit organisation delivering valuable services for the safety and wellbeing of women and families throughout the Midwest-Gascoyne and North Midlands regions.
Sandra is proudly regional and committed to being a strong voice for regional WA.
